SMARTEVO² COMPOUND
SmartEVO² represents the latest advancement in our high-performance racing bicycle tyre compound, enhanced by incorporating our Motorsport expertise at the highest level and the needs of modern World Tour racing. It evolves from the SmartEVO blend of three polymers with 'smart' characteristics, using new materials and innovative mixing processes now possible at our own manufacturing plant in Italy, close to our global R&D headquarters. The result is improved overall grip, especially on wet surfaces, and rolling resistance reduced to a record level for its category.
SPEEDCORE CASING
The highest-performing tubeless-ready road casing in our range, with a unique design that adds an aramid band within the tyre’s rubber layer. This structure adds strength and support to the casing but retains a supple feel for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip, compared with a full bead-to-bead aramid construction. A 120 TPI nylon casing adds puncture protection and security. SPEEDCORE is patent-pending, exclusive to the P ZERO™ Race tubeless models and the choice of the World Tour factory teams.
